Course Overview

MongoDB is an open-source, cross-platform, and distributed document-based database. Its name is derived from the word "Humongous" which means huge, enormous. MongoDB database is built to store a huge amount of data and also perform fast. It makes use of collections and documents. Following data collection are covered in this course: NoSQL databases, Document databases, Key-value stores, Column-oriented databases, Graph databases.
